Kohls

We finally got one here. They have been building that place since November last year.
They have been open since Sunday, but the grand opening was today with sales.

I was waiting until today to go, opened at 8am for the doorbuster prices, I had my flyer plus the 10.00 off they mailed me :)
Nat and I got in line at about 7:50, way at the back of the line, lol I was going for the 9.99 electric griddle, Hamilton Beach coffee pot, 2.99 towels, I was ready! By the time I got to the back of the store for the coffee pots, they were gone. Had to wait for them to get more from the back, finally a man was bringing a ton and by the time he got to where all us people were waiting they were gone again. So we wait some more, I was waiting on the coffee pot for my mil, it's reg 39.99, for 9.99 I will wait. Someone hit my elbow and said "what are you doing here" it was my daughters homeroom teacher , I said "Hey, and who has the class, lol" They are allowed 1 hour off in the mornings once a month, today she took hers to get a coffee pot,lol So we are waiting and talking, and all of a sudden she just took off, I thought ok? finally I saw her in the throng with 2 boxes over her head, she had saw the man coming and ran and got her one and me one,lol
Then off to the towels I go and they are big and nice, on sale for 2.99, the 12 pack of wash cloths were also 2.99, reg, 7.99 and 9.99 so I was happy.
The griddle I wanted was not the one on sale for 9.99, it was the small one, but the big one was on sale for 19.99 reg, 39.99 so I got both, the big one for the house, and the small one, (which ended up being free with the 10 off) for the camper we are getting this summer.
Nat was a gem this morning, she saw some flip flops she loved, they were half off, reg 12.00 got them for 6, I have never paid that much for flip flops! but she was good as gold and these are cute, lol Checkout lines were very long, wrapped around the store, but they were good in having employees there making sure when one was short enough to get you in, so it went pretty fast, finally she got me in one, I thought this is good, only 2 people in front of me, but the first lady had a ton, but wanted to ring it all up 4 seperate transactions, finally i get there and a lady is standing where there are no buggys, by this time they are all gone, she was holding her crying toddler, she asked me if she could follow me to my car so she could have my cart, I told her just take it, I have been there before with a crying child, the lady bagging all my stuff said how are you going to get all this stuff to your car, I said I will find a way, well I ended up with 4 large bags of towels, plus a coffee maker and the griddles, lol she finished bagging and then loaded up her arms with my stuff and said lets go,lol Really nice, could not ask for better service today.
Overall I think I bargain shopped really good today, if I had bought at full price would have been right at $400.00, but only paid $105.00 for mine and my mil stuff, so I was pleased.

Well I have since gone in just to shop, after Grand Opening sale. Had a really good chance to really look around the store. I did not really see any clothes that I would like for me, I am a very short person, but the petite dept. had clothes that my grandmother would love, lol Kl loved the Juniors shoes.
Any other sales...... I have not been out shopping to check.
